The Records Office has published a detailed guide to its resources and how to access them. Their collections include many pictures of Somerset towns and villages and under 'Taunton' there are two of Huish's school interest. One shows what appears to be the frontispiece of a prospectus and the other a football team photographed against a background of the old school building (it looks somewhat like a Nissen hut at first sight!) with Arnold Goodliffe, who was noted for his support of sporting activity, in the centre surrounded by his team. Does anyone recognise them?
Also at the Records Office are the T.J. Hunt papers extensively referred to by Gordon Baker in his History of Huish's, Taunton. The use of these pictures is gratefully acknowledged.
